Let's get started

I realize that no two people are the same and as such tailor my therapy to meet the specific needs of my clients. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression or any other issue, I will help you recognize underlying problems, fully realize your strengths and adjust certain behaviors and thoughts to see things a different, healthier way.

My practice specializes in treating individuals, couples and families and I offer comprehensive services dealing with:

ADD/ADHD Therapy for Adults

For adults, being undiagnosed or late-diagnosed with ADD/ADHD can lead to years of feeling misunderstood, frustrated, or overwhelmed. Many have spent their lives compensating for symptoms without knowing the root cause, which often results in chronic stress, low self-esteem, and struggles with productivity. Those who are late-diagnosed may experience a mix of relief and grief—relief from finally understanding their challenges, and grief over the missed opportunities that could have been different with earlier support. Regardless of when someone is diagnosed, ADD/ADHD can significantly impact personal and professional life, but with the right tools and strategies, thriving is absolutely possible.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a structured, goal-oriented form of therapy that helps individuals understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. By identifying and challenging unhelpful thought patterns, CBT empowers you to make meaningful changes that improve your mental health and overall well-being.

Therapy For Anxiety

Anxiety can feel all-consuming, affecting every aspect of your daily life, from work to relationships. Many adults experience a sense of being overwhelmed as if no matter how hard they try, they can’t seem to control their anxious thoughts. If you’ve felt this way—even after trying therapy that didn’t seem to help—I want you to know that there is hope.

Individual Therapy

Are you having a difficult time handling the struggles in your life? Could you use an expert opinion on what you’re going through, or a non-judgmental ear just to listen? Do you think you could benefit the most from individualized attention? Are you hesitant to talk to others about your problems? If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, then individual therapy could be the solution you’ve been seeking.

Life Transitions

Has your life been touched by a major event such as a death, divorce, or layoffs at work? Are you having a hard time moving through and past the emotional turmoil? Do you feel completely stuck and like you need guidance getting back on track? There’s no denying that life often presents us with our fair share of challenges, usually in the form of sudden change. These life transitions, even the positive ones, can throw us into a tailspin and leave us feeling stressed, confused, and vulnerable. But with the right tools and mindset, you have the power to not only overcome any adversity but also transform into a more authentic and confident version of yourself.

Social Anxiety Disorder Counseling

Do you experience intense anxiety or nervousness when faced with social situations? Do you fear being judged or criticized by others? Are you always worried about making mistakes, looking bad, or being embarrassed in front of others? If you answered yes to any of the above, you may have a social anxiety disorder.

Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)

Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) is a short-term, goal-oriented approach that focuses on solutions rather than problems. Instead of spending time analyzing past issues, SFBT helps clients envision their desired future and identify the strengths and resources they already have to achieve their goals. This type of therapy empowers clients by highlighting their capabilities and helping them recognize the small steps they can take to create meaningful change.

Telehealth

Do you need support, but can’t make it to an in-person appointment? Are you a busy stay-at-home or working parent, and don’t have the time to drive across town for an appointment? Do you live in a more rural area, or maybe you prefer to just do things Virtually? If so, we can help you through virtual therapy, or telehealth.

Therapy For Self-Esteem

Do you suffer from anxiety or depression? Do you often feel awkward and self-conscious in social settings? Are you constantly comparing yourself to others and finding you never measure up? Self-esteem is a concept that speaks to how we feel about ourselves. When one has high self-esteem, they feel confident, centered, and worthy of love. People with low self-esteem often feel shame and self-doubt. They often feel critical of themselves and are unworthy of love or praise.

Women's Issues

Have you lost much of the joy you once felt? Are you struggling in an abusive or toxic relationship? Do you have years of living with low self-worth resulting in a less-than-desirable life? Throughout the ages, women have been called “the fairer sex.” And yet, were you to ask women about their life experiences, many would admit their life events haven’t always seemed so fair. Women may experience certain environmental, psychological, and biological challenges related to gender that have a significant impact on their mental health and well-being. If not addressed properly, these challenges can turn into burdens that often lead to anxiety, depression, and a lost sense of self.
